The tuners at Mcchip have developed a tuning package in two stages for the Ford Focus RS. In the first stage, the engine develops 345 bhp and 520 Nm of torque, in the second stage the engine develops 401 bhp and 612 Nm of torque. The first stage Focus upgrades cost 799 euros while the second one is 4.499 euros.

The first stage of upgrades is represented by tweaks brought to the ECU of the Focus RS. The ECU is programmed to increase the power of the supercharged 2.5 liter engine to 345 chp, while the maximum torque goes up to 520 Nm. The price tag for these upgrades is only 799 euros, while the maximum speed has increased from 262 km/h (162.8 mph) to 271 km/h (168.3 mph). The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) hasn’t been mentioned.

The second stage of upgrades for the Ford Focus RS involves changing the intercooler, installing a new sport exhaust system and changes brought to the fuel intake. Also, the electronics of the engine is modified. The Ford Focus RS now offers 410 bhp and 612 Nm of torque. Although it costs 4.499 euros, the second stage of improvements from Mcchip increases the maximum speed of the Focus RS to 278 km/h (172.7 mph).
